Would I read again? Yes, this is one of my favorites
Would I read future books from this author? Definitely
“I’ve been monitoring him ever since we got married, and I’ve killed every single potential danger. I’ll continue to kill anyone that intends to harm him.”
I’m convinced the B in Bianca’s name stands for batshit crazy and you what? I love it! B is the perfect definition of sweet and psychotic, while most people may think she’s just plain crazy I think she’s really fascinating and I enjoyed being in her head throughout the sequel and this book. You know one of those heroines you fall in love with? Yeah, that’s B, that’s the girl you’re going to hug and scream at the same time. At times I’m like Don’t do it B and you know she fucking does it! This book made me laugh, cry and cringe at the same time.
Were given a complete run down on how she saw her husband and did whatever was necessary to become a part of his life. In her mind everything she does to be with Theo is justified and completely normal, for her things are simple, a threat to Theo? Destroy said threat, a potential love interest? Destroy said love interest. She’s willing to cross every line if it meant that Theo is safe and belongs to her only.
Dark-grumpy-broody heroes are my thing and Theo was the complete opposite of that which had me a bit skeptical but in this story his character works and he’s the perfect balance for B. One of my favorite things about him was when he found out about B and all of her crazy, he didn’t judge or berated her, he felt betrayed but his reaction was the total opposite of what I thought.
Through the book you couldn’t fully predict what was about to happen and that had me completely hooked. It wasn’t average at all.
This is one of those books that would forever stay with me and B is one of those heroines that would always have a special place in my heart.
Please note that this book is one of those dark books with a bunch of triggers that may be offensive to some.
